A first rounder won't be needed
IMHO a first rounder is overs for Grundy. He'll be 29 next year and while he'll do well in the Melbourne system, I also think that playing in the most demanding position will wear him down rapidly.
Much of the angst amongst Collingwood fans is because Brodie is a favourite with supporters.
pick 27 is fair as long as melbourne pay more of his salary (if we're only up for $150k pa I'd be fine with that)
