It depends on what you want. Scahche can run better and kick better but is less good 1v1…. as in is putrid 1v1.

A perfect matchup for Ben Brown.

I have watched them both a lot.

Weideman is a better deep forward 3/10, Scahche only 1/10. BUT as a high half forward, Schache is 4/10 and Weideman would be like a 2/10.

High half forward with serious aerobic capacity to transition play and take a defender away from the forward line which will be based around JVR and Fritsch this year. Hopefully TMac comes back fit, because even though Schache is theoretically capable I just don’t see the mentality required to pick himself up after a mistake. Same as Weid

Hunter will be a D by the end of the day. Turned down the Aints and there is no contract extension, as he is contracted for 2 more years.

Best asset is is hard running. His VO2max score at age 18 was the best I have seen in a non-alpinist. Basically his ability to get oxygen from the air into his muscles is elite.

You still need an alpha KPF. The main bloke. Schache isn’t that. High Half Forward is Schache role. He won’t get a look in at the Bulldogs for that role, as Naughton and JUH are both better at it and can take a contested mark.

James Jordan is one of the best tacklers in our team, he's not an outside player, he's being played out of position.

Dunstan is a centre squad midfielder and was never going to get minutes ahead of Clarry, Trac, Viney

Clarry missed 1 game, Trac missed 0 games, Viney missed 2 games

If either of them miss extended games, Dunstan was probably first in.

I'm not saying he should've been in the team. But Goodwin should've just said 'look mate, we value you as a player, but you're on the fringe and will probably play vfl unless we have injuries'. The guy was on the afl scrapheap, he didn't need to fed all of the false promises. I'm sure he wold've just been happy with a contract.
