I'm not saying he should've been in the team. But Goodwin should've just said 'look mate, we value you as a player, but you're on the fringe and will probably play vfl unless we have injuries'. The guy was on the afl scrapheap, he didn't need to fed all of the false promises. I'm sure he wold've just been happy with a contract.

No.
Dogs won’t delist him, he has a contract ready but Schache would prefer a new opportunity elsewhere.

Im glad the club listened to danster168 and addressed his problem with the forward line by getting Schache. Its a weight off my shoulders knowing hes happy now.

I doubt we wanted to make the move, but both players clearly wanted fresh starts so we're just making it happen and accepting the (close to) nil all draw.

Can't agree. Schache is truly awful. Weid at least had the advantage of never having played back, allowing the theoretical possibility he would be a good backman.
