Am I a prick for being dirty on Gus if he leaves? If Jackson leaves he was clearly always going to, but Gus was nursed through concussion issues then given a very generous contract in 2018 after one good season. He proceeded to do nothing in 2019/2020, had a good 2021 and is having a great 2022. Now if he leaves it’ll be purely due to money imo.

Personally I'd be dirty on the club if they didn't bend over backwards to keep him. He's not just a hero, but a legend as well. There should be a statue of Angus, of that mark, outside of the MCG. A statue made out of gold and erected on a platform made out of red and blue diamonds.

(did have some average years tho, but I think the fault there lies on the coaching group on that one too.)

With Bowey and Rivers coming thru Salem makes sense as someone to trade that wont leave us shorthanded at the position while netting us a good return.

Highly likely trading Salem this isn't even considered, its just BF hypotheticals.

depends how you view Salem, is he on the way down, can you sell now for a good price before his trade price plummets. Im not saying he is but Watts for a draft pick which turned into Fritsch worked out pretty well as an example of this when we needed cash for Lever and May.

That's a terrible take by you. Salem is definitely AA calibre. He does a lot of things better than Brayshaw. He was best on ground in the granny at half time. One of the best in the prelim also.
