I wonder if Sam Flanders from the GC is gettable? I was really keen on him in his draft year and while he extended to 2023, he's only played 7 games this year. Clearly has some dvelopmental work to do but worth a look at I reckon.
Nup you can't ignore the main factor here, Jackson is OOC so if we don't like what we get from Freo they can offer us nothing.I think Jackson would be worth a bit more (not a lot), given his height and flexibility and Butters' injury woes.
We're probably going to get significant draft capital from the Jackson trade, why not dangle it out in front of a team like Port who may be sliding into a rebuild and have an eye on some SA players in the draft?
I'd prefer we went after a proven gun that can step in R1 next year and contribute rather than more 18 year olds.
I'm sure we are plotting something

Reminds me, of being along similar lines, to Tom Rockliff. What do you think his weapons are.?I wonder if Sam Flanders from the GC is gettable? As long as the AFL sanction it, behind closed doors.Nup you can't ignore the main factor here, Jackson is OOC so if we don't like what we get from Freo they can offer us nothing.
You have no idea what the pre season draft is do youAs long as the AFL sanction it, behind closed doors.
No chance, they'll retire Riewoldt before they let him go.Cumberland could be an interesting player to target, I know he hasn't played much at all, but hes looked bloody good the past month.

Absolutely. If I was his manager Id wait until the offseason to sign, can easily see someone throwing him silly money (north of 500k) just on what hes done for 2 months to end the season.

I think Richmond would pay close to what anyone can anyway. Losing Edwards, Martin, Riewoldt in the next little bit they can pay whateverIf I was his manager Id wait until the offseason to sign, can easily see someone throwing him silly money (north of 500k) just on what hes done for 2 months to end the season.
You don't understand how long and powerful the AFL tentacles are, do you.You have no idea what the pre season draft is do you

Our Premiership window is open now, we pick up another good ruck, hopefully with the Pies paying most of his wages. We still need a decent forward though.YUCK
