I wonder if Sam Flanders from the GC is gettable? I was really keen on him in his draft year and while he extended to 2023, he's only played 7 games this year. Clearly has some dvelopmental work to do but worth a look at I reckon.

I loved him in his draft year too but what I've seen of him at the Suns has been pretty meh. But definitely still worth a look just on the basis of his U18 performances.

I think Jackson would be worth a bit more (not a lot), given his height and flexibility and Butters' injury woes.

We're probably going to get significant draft capital from the Jackson trade, why not dangle it out in front of a team like Port who may be sliding into a rebuild and have an eye on some SA players in the draft?

I'd prefer we went after a proven gun that can step in R1 next year and contribute rather than more 18 year olds.

Nup you can't ignore the main factor here, Jackson is OOC so if we don't like what we get from Freo they can offer us nothing.
Port don't have to say yes to anything and Butters is a gun. You're off your tree if you think we can get more for Jackson this year.

It really isn't a good year to lose Jackson. Unless WCE get involved, we aren't looking at any high draft picks and there really are dregs that are available in regards to gettable players. It is what it is but it feels like we're not going to get a huge haul out of him leaving.

Reminds me, of being along similar lines, to Tom Rockliff. What do you think his weapons are.?

Cumberland could be an interesting player to target, I know he hasn't played much at all, but hes looked bloody good the past month.

Probably stays at Richmond but id be happy to take a swing with him and offer 500k ish or 3 years.

I think Richmond would pay close to what anyone can anyway. Losing Edwards, Martin, Riewoldt in the next little bit they can pay whatever
