Well Freo fans have now gone back to my leaderboard for biggest campaigners. Idiots on the trade board trying to argue Lamb is worse than Dodo, a flog, and difficult to trade with.

Yes, let's ignore years of Melbourne being reasonable to trade with and getting it done simply because this year our guy wants to get fair value for a player.

No doubt the deal is probably already done anyway.

I remember ‘politely conversing’ with some Freo fan back during the Hogan trade that getting the deal done could help in future situations where you’ll inevitably have to deal with the same club but it won’t necessarily be in your favour. Apparently not, being an absolute campaigner at trade time is the infallible path to glory according the Dockers supporters.

Collingwood apparently pissed at us, What we traded for pick 27 was the equivalent of pick 14 based on points.

I said we got hosed at the time with that trade but didnt realise it was by that much.

Having said that, you can only trade with someone who wants to, if nobody wants it in the pick 20-25 range what can you do.

Even more reason for us to hold firm on 27 given what we gave up to get it.

I was surprised it was that high honestly. Hard to imagine 33 43 and 53 being worth the same as 14. The points system seems whack.

I feel like people get hung up on points but why didn't we just hand over the three picks to Collingwood and let them deal with turning into pick 20-25.

Collingwood will come around because it's going to **** their cap if they don't.
