Actually wouldn’t be surprised at all if we put the jackson compo and our future first on the table tomorrow for a higher pick.
He’d be a good replacement for Weideman in the VFLI've always said Josh Schache is a versatile and talented footballer

Swans, Roos open to parting with top picks
More first-round pick swaps are expected to move hands this off-season, with North Melbourne and Sydney hoping to shift their draft hands.
According to AFL Media, the Kangaroos are open to offers for Pick 3, looking to bring in a wave of fresh talent by landing two more top-10 picks.
Sydney have shared their interest in packaging Picks 14 and 17 to move up in the draft and appear as a potential suitor for North's high pick, however the Roos may be eyeing a stronger hand in return for their second best selection.
Surely, just surely if North are even half considering 3 for 14+17 we swoop in with the Jackson compo for pick 3

I reckon the top 4 or 5 this year are worth holding onto. Wardlaw and Sheezel would be like recruiting Oliver/Petracca in one draft. Of course we don't know if these two will be anywhere near as good, but they are talented kids and a chance to draft them together is huge. GWS have already claimed Cadman which leaves Tsatas as the other stand out draft prospect. Is he worth giving away pick 13 and next year's Freo first? Not sure. Suns hold pick 5 so who knows?Would be surprised if North accept 13 and FF or whatever, but you never know.
Can certainly see us happy to move everything for 1 very high pick. We have form when it comes to this and it's worked pretty well for us too!
Yes - definitely worth itI reckon the top 4 or 5 this year are worth holding onto. Wardlaw and Sheezel would be like recruiting Oliver/Petracca in one draft. So you subscribe to the church of Sheezus? So pick 3 would leave us with 1 of sheezel, Wardlaw or Tsatas?
I only know I want Sheezel so it’s a big risk.
Don’t see him dropping outside the top 5, not to be pedantic? Who do you think goes ahead of him?Id be shocked if Sheezel went top 3 , wouldnt be surprised if hes there at 6
Yeah I don't get why they had to toss in 7 too. Is the contract really that cooked that no one would touch it otherwise? They signalled they'd give up pick 7 before trade week even kicked off. Must've had some GC methhead bikie looking after the books for themThe Jack Bowes trade is incredible really. And GCS just hand over pick 7 (to the reigning premiers no less) as well? * me it must be demoralising playing for the Suns (who actually put together some decent footy this year). Their retention issues are bad enough without them bending over and handing over talent at the trade table.

I think it's our way, but I also agree with it - go all in this year.Move up and go all in this year if we have a target in mind or convert our picks into futures for next year's improved draft, which way will they go?
Really? Mind you I have no idea where they are going but I thought Ashcroft, wardlaw and sheezel were expected top 3 with one pushed out now GWS have moved up for Cadman.Id be shocked if Sheezel went top 3 , wouldnt be surprised if hes there at 6
Agreed - super drafts are determined in the years afterwards, not the year before. In addition, almost every year the argument is that next year is a super draft - but it rarely works out that way.
