Was there ever this much salt from other supporters about a team getting priority picks?

We are 8 wins across 3 seasons that’s as bad as it gets and we’ve never had a pp. If anyone deserves them it’s us

Battle is a far far better target than McStay. Better all round footballer but isn’t getting hyped up because he doesn’t play for a top 4 side.

A KD trio of McKay, Battle and Corr gives us flexibility and intercepting potential. Battle is a beautiful mark of the footy. Also gives us genuine flexibility because Battle can move forward. Walker & Dawson improve our KD depth.

Offer Battle a big front loaded contract and take him in the PSD.

Idk mate, I'd argue allowing a drug culture to fester and take over the club, seeing multiple star players arrested and one almost OD, is perhaps a little more egregious than a few poor list management decisions when determining who "deserves" a priority pick. A club would probably be even less deserving if they were just 2 years removed from a flag

So remind me again, how did you secure Luke Shuey in 2008, 2 years after your 06 triumph?

Hmm, an end of first round compensation pick....about the same one the AFL would give us....handed to you based purely on your performance on the field.......

Highmore from the saints and Bedford from the dees are two OOC players we should be having a really hard look at; bedford been mentioned several times already but highmore has neat skills for a 3rd tall defender and good hands, would offer something to our back 6 and at the minimum solidify our 2s side with dawson. Someone mentioned Sexton from GC earlier in the thread which is a great shout too, def worth trading a late pick for and at worst will keep Zurhaar honest; he won't be able to have a complacent run of quiet, nothing games if there's an AFL ready forward ready to steal his spot.
