All of them.

Gil is caught in a compromising position by a North Melbourne friendly photographer and the "rescue" deal suddenly includes 5 priority picks at the start of the draft.

That's the good news.

The bad news (look away now) is we traded them all along with Todd Goldstein (didn't want to dilute their compensation for losing Jon Ceglar to FA) to Geelong for Ratugolea.

Obviously we could've walked him to the PSD - but opted not to damage the relationship in case we wanted to trade with them again during the next 20-30 years.

Will Phillips?

I'd delist about 8 players if I was in charge. (filled by drafting, FAs, rookies)

None I have on my list have the ability for AFL level and if we are going to bottom out completely, we might as well do so right now not keep players just because "they can run" or "they try hard at training" - it only stops us coming back quicker.

We need to be a much more professional club than what we have been.

Thoughts on Melican from Sydney?

Not injured so guessing he is a victim to the McCartins holding the KPB positions.

Right age (25), Victorian lad and would provide us some depth down back.

Thoughts?

Wouldn’t be a bad depth option, but he has always been better suited to the 3rd tall role rather than as a genuine key position player. Much the same as Corr. His kicking is a bit suspect and being 193cm and 100kg he isn’t the most mobile bloke out there. If he ends up getting delisted he’d be a good option as a mature rookie

I'd be having a crack at Nelson from WC, Flanders from GC and Skinner from Port.

Sam Simpson from the cats would be good too.

Nelson is the WCE whipping boy equivalent to Sugar at NM mate.. Their supporters flog him..

Matt Crouch anyone?

I'd get De Goey in if his price has significantly dropped.

He is a gun and I couldn't give a * what he does off field.

Jay Rantall is actually a player who I'd be interested in picking up. He was delisted (unfairly imo) after only 2 years. He played 4 senior games and didn't look out of place.

Since then he was gone over to Norwood in the SANFL where he has played 14 games and averaged 24 disposals per game, 4 marks, 6 tackles.

Plays as a genuine wing and he has freakishly elite endurance. He did have a couple of interviews before the MSD, so there is a bit of interest there. If we don't pick up any wingers in this years draft, he would be a smart rookie list pick. Still only 21 so plenty of scope for development.
We definitely need winger depth. Scott, Taylor and Walker ain’t great. Walker is gone, Taylor is a half-forward and Scott is a solid b-grader.

Matt Crouch anyone?
If we didn’t have Greenwood on the list I’d say yes. Or perhaps in the Event that Cunners retired I would also say yes.

He is an genuinely elite inside mid and would be support the growth of our young guys. Is an elite trainer, had good leadership and supposedly a good guy to have around the club.

Really?

Does not solve any of our issues. Stat padder, 0 run, 0 defensive game.

Can’t get a game for a club not that better than us

Last thing we need

Logue wouldn't be cover. If he comes to North he is rock solid in our 22.

More saying we would then have cover fwd and back... all this is hopeful until we can get a coach that will then be able to entice bodies over

We’re absolutely covered for inside mids.

We have one that can get from inside to the outside.

We desperately need a damaging outside mid/wingman to benefit from the work of the contested mids.

You just potted three that are rated around here, goodness me man.

I hope we trade two of them and the other can play VFL.
Taylor is up against other better options for a HF role. And I think Ford would be a better fit and currently can't get a game.

If Taylor can’t increase his strength, he’s cooked.
