I was more referring to the fact that we might not have the full picture here.

What if it includes a swap of firsts in 23’?

What if he goes to the dons and we are targeting pick 4 (as part of a bigger deal)?

To trade him for a second rounder that is available to us in 12 months would have to indicate that Clark was busted dealing meth or in bed with Ratts Mrs or still wears a nappy and takes a bottle.

They will jump us for sure if we do that trade.

I initially thought that too, as we need players next year, including draftees.

But then I realised that if we gain extra picks in next years draft, that we can ontrade them as part of deals for players or for pick/s in this years draft. So it can still help us next season too if we want it to.

Reports that next years draft is deep may help with that.

I'm just pointing out that we've heard for months that it was negligent not to get Clarko but it turns out the opposite is true.

Anyway I expect we'll have some casualties from this with our Hawthorn connections. It will be an interesting day in the AFL industry.

The worst part potentially is if they have to wait until the full investigation is complete before being able to sack him and appoint someone else.
