Why , he lived in melbourne for ages when he was at Essendon, and not every 30YO needs to run home to mommy.
He mum lives in Western Australia...
His kids on the other hand were living in SA last I heard, so if that's still the case it would be understandable.

Didn’t mention anything about running home to his American mother, weird take. He spent time in Adelaide visiting his kids when he was playing with us, and there was narrative around him wanting to be back there at the time

I was taking the piss a bit. McKenna is a gun only question mark would be his time away but he's only 26.
He's been playing Gaelic footy so I wouldn't be concerned

Went from never playing footy. To playing and doing very well. To leaving going back to playing Gaelic again.
Absolutely nothing to worry about. Like a chameleon.
Quick. Attacking. Breaks lines. Under Ross he would be Jason Gram lite.
And he is a good kick of the footy. Probably play for 5 years at a good level for us

What are the mechanics of actually getting him? What pick would we most likely have to use?
If he goes into the draft could other clubs not pick him, or is it the case of where he’s said hes only interested in a particular club?
