Cam Mooney was a premiership player as a youngster (the day before his 20th birthday) after a zero possession game.

In and of itself it’s not necessarily an indicator of talent.

I mean, Robert Eddy was the bounce of a ball away from being one.

That year we thought in 3 of them (McKernan, Wood, Frawley)

Bit different just bringing in one guy where we've got a gaping hole.

Unfortunately if Howard goes down we don't have a back up.

It doesn't stop us from draft another key defender in the draft. But they wont be AFL ready day one.

We could get Mitchell AND Crouch, then we just need to convince Dunstan to come back.

Thought Cordy was around 28 years old. At only 25 I think it's a good shout and still scope for improvement.
It's not costing any draft picks and he definitely isn't as bad as some of you are making out

If I were Ratts I'd be pushing hard for it. It's good insurance incase one of Steele or Crouch go down. Also, despite having these players the last couple of years we haven't been dominating in the centre like we'd probably expect.

I wouldn't be banking on improved second years from last year's crop either.
