Brodie and Blakely in the same midfield is actually the stuff of nightmares

We have to bring erasmus in and play NOD there. Even if we lost I would be interested in their development.

Is Mundy back at the club?

100% expecting Noddy to play and Erasmus to debut this week.

Mundy still in isolation and confirmed not playing this week.

Ok popped into training today the following are some observations.

Serong was unsighted 🤷‍♂️
Darcy walked laps.Looked comfortable but when asked by a watcher re playing he said 50/50.
Tabs trained strongly so I reckon he will play.
Cox trained and looked fine.
Only players from injury list who didn’t train were, Fyfe (who watched), Johnson who walked laps and had a bit of a kick.
Everyone else trained.🤟
Meek spent a time watching and training by himself, I’d say sore but should be ok.

PS.
Amiss had a shot on goal from outside fifty, looked almost effortless but hit the post half way up. So not sure a good sign or an ominous one!😜

Does that include Benning? Kind of want to see this kid play a few Peel games soon.
Thanks for the report 👍👍👍

Ras has more muscle definition than Willo...just in case anyone is thinking he's not physically ready.

Admittedly, not a high bar, but a bar nonetheless.
Erasmus is gonna end up with a body like Fyfe

It’s a sign he’s a Freo player.

If your waiting on Sturt good luck. Huge talent but so was Valente.
Some of these guys are just here for the ride.
Then you have guys like Fyfe who was drafted under 80kg.
Shit call blue shark. If you have ever watched Sturt he is hard at ever contest, so much so that he missed most of his first season through concussions and was told by his coaches to ease up a bit. He may never make it, but it won't be through lack of effort on his part. Sadly, some guys are just injury prone and it doesn't matter if you're built like a tank (Morabito) or slight like Sturt.

I'm still hopeful he will come good. Or... maybe we could cut him and whinge when another club picks him up and he becomes a good player ;)

Fairly sure most of Sturt's injuries have been from contact haven't they? Kinda like Pearce? We just need Sturt to get a clear run at it I think.

I like Sturt, but the guy is built like a stick. Sure there are examples of
Players that have his frame dominating.
Dean Kemp, but he also was one of the best at-bench pressing at WC.
Fyfe’s transformation is what this club needs.
I didn’t question his courage, but unless he puts on some muscle I don’t see him
being resilient at AFL.

Most of the time contact injuries are just bad luck.
I weigh 75kg soaking wet but I never had a broken bone in my life and I've played plenty of footy against plenty bigger blokes.
Also did plenty dumb/bone breaking hobbies too skateboards/dirt jumps etc all the way through my youth into my 30's until some dickhead flipped me up playing basketball and I broke my wrist. That was contact and it was bad luck, not injury prone.
Poor old Sturty just needs a bit of good luck.

Never had a broken bone in your life but you’ve had a broken wrist? That makes no sense.

I agree. Some kids take longer to develop their body. I couldn’t put on muscle mass until my early 20’s and suffered a bunch of injuries that held me back. He’s never going to be a mesomorph but his body is definitely developing. He is a smart forward who is quick and can kick a long goal. I’m fully supportive of him getting a decent run at Peel.

Starting with today’s WAFL scratch I think he is ready for a decent run of senior games with no game time limitations.

If you had read a bit further on you would have noticed I used the word ‘until’ before I described how I did indeed end up with a small broken bone in my wrist from an unlucky contact injury in my 30’s.
But thank you for your comment Captain Grammar I do love a good joust and piss take session poking fun at some pleb’s poor grasp of the English language. [emoji111]️
