Great to see one of my unheralded local GWV Rebels favourites Lachie Charleson get a gig....very much a Jake Soligo type in that he's just a no frills high I.Q.footballer that has all based covered skills wise and footy smarts wise..

An effective mid/forward at Coates League level for the GWV Rebels as well as for East Point Seniors in the strong Ballarat Football League. At 176cm people may see him as purely a forward but he's much more than that.

Hopefully VC coach Paul Corrigan will give him a run in the VC midfield alongside Harley Reid and the stacked VC midfield rotations to allow folks to appreciate his talent fully.

Surely SA can't continue playing as poorly as their last 2 outings? The thing that's stood out for me with SA is there seems to be no semblance of a game plan for a team that should be better drilled given their opportunities to train together that especially the Allies and Vic Country lads just don't have.
It was night and day watching the skills and teamwork aspects of the Allies and SA.

If it's a fine day I'd be expecting a shellacking if SA don't get their act together. 60 - 90 points if the weather's OK.

Midfield is poor and there is no cohesion as you say , no team work

And their best players are all overrated for output at that level especially Moir , Mcaullife . Talls are poor too . They’d need McCabe , Moir , Delean and Mcaullife to all dominate and I can’t see it happening
