The biggest unknown of the the digital and information accessible era from a draft point of view is the 2023 AFLM Draft.
Where do we start with the discussions?
The only names I've seen a few times for this draft are:
George Stevens. (VC.) (Though, he might be for 2022.)
Lukas Zvaigzne. (SA.)
Tyzreise Clark. (WA.)
Hayze Griffiths. (WA.)
Have no idea about any of these players.
As in, I've read about them and know of them but wouldn't have a Scooby Doo as to how they play and how good they are.
First time in a long time that we've waited for even a morsel of information to form the basis of our expectations on names for this draft.
At least the boys born in 2004 have had some exposure.
The folk born in 2005, unknown quantities.
Between 2023-2025, we'll see quite a few speculative picks. (Throw in 2026 if the 2019 U12's squads had names born in 2008.)
The likes we've not seen probably since before BigFooty was founded.
