2 years of little footy for the vic metro kids is really going to take its toll at this age group, there is no hiding the lack of crucial development is going to be an issue for these kids. I am not sure there is an easy answer, perhaps the best would be to lift the draft age to allow the vic kids an extra year to catch up.

The best "catch up" is getting into the AFL system where you have full-time development and at least some protection from COVID shutdowns.

Anyone else catch the Bendigo vs Geelong game last weekend ? Harley Reid was unreal, already in the Pioneers best handful of players. Haven’t seen much of the SA/WA lads but it would take a lot to dethrone him at the top of the 2023 rankings at the moment

One to watch this week end. Kane McAuliffe. Stunning season for North Adelaide in SANFL U16 season. In 8 games he went over 30, 5 times. Highlighted with a 43 game. Since completion of the SANFL U16 season Kane, as a year 10, has moved seamlessly into 1st 18 footy for PAC, regularly making the best players.

This week end Intercol is being live streamed - PAC v St Peter’s. Kane will certainly be one to watch together with the likes of Matty Roberts and Morgan Ferres.

I couldn't get into today's game (no commentary and constantly referring back to numbers) but I saw a nice goal from a set shot kicked by Patrick Weckert.

I'd assume Delean did what Delean does best.

Delean was one of the best on, super aggressive and made the most of his chances. McCabe, Weckert, Moir and Francis the others that were good.
