Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
Not if North take him at 2/3. Clarko would back himself to get Curtin on board surely.Reported over in The West that Clarko was actually in Perth to convince Curtin to come but Curtin is rather clear that he wants to stay in Perth. Seems like he will get his wish much to Clarkos dismay

He shouldn't have nominated for the national draft then should he?Doesnt seem like it
I think Curtin is as adamant as not going over East as someone will ever be. Its why Adelaide/Essendon no longer in the running
Pretty much.He shouldn't have nominated for the national draft then should he?
I doubt that would really put a club off. Obviously JHF is fresh in everyone's mind, but North really really really need a good tall. Plenty of 18 year olds don't want to move away, but adapt fine once they do.
Reckon you are correct, just a matter of whether they wait for the bid, or do it immediately. There has been a couple of trades suggested for the Suns for their picks in the 20's.When does live pick trading start, before the first selection is made?
Thinking with a Jed Walter bid expected at 2 or 3 the Suns will be wanting to attain some more points straight up.
Give or take 7.15pm.Does anyone know when the actual draft starts? I know coverage starts at 7pm but I don't know when the actual draft starts.
We get it, West Coast best at everything.Reported over in The West that Clarko was actually in Perth to convince Curtin to come but Curtin is rather clear that he wants to stay in Perth. Seems like he will get his wish much to Clarkos dismay
6.15pm for us Brisbane fanboys... don't get caught short Qld AFL Draft nuffies.
Last year it started at 7:25pm but you'd hope they'd kick in a little earlier considering all the bids that are going to be flying about.Does anyone know when the actual draft starts? I know coverage starts at 7pm but I don't know when the actual draft starts.
North can trump us anyway. F1 & 18 for 7, 16 and change and Curtin is yours. Would probably make more sense to go after O'Sullivan with that pick though.
I haven't followed that closely so don't have a view how good either player may be. But on type I agree.North can trump us anyway. F1 & 18 for 7, 16 and change and Curtin is yours. Would probably make more sense to go after O'Sullivan with that pick though.
Two of Curtin/O'Sullivan/Caddy/Murphy makes more sense than McKercher & Duursma but they could walk away with four of those players if they were willing. It honestly makes more sense for the roos to trade their f1 into this year than the eagles to get another tall, seems a bit awkward with those teens picks they have, you probably have to reach a bit to get talls at those picks.
They also dont need more mids as much from next years draft
So much sooking about Sydney bidding, but I love it. I respect that move infinitely more than the clubs who avoid bidding because of bullshit handshake agreements.
Tom Green sliding to 10 and Daicos sliding to 4 are two of the more egregious examples. Give me more of the Sydney attitude, hope they can pull off the hattrick of Croft, Rogers and McCabe
But he would be contracted for 3 years and if he has shown much would cost WC or Freo multiple first round picks. If you were backing in your list to improve may be a smart way to bank future first round picks.Doesnt seem like it

List is below (may have missed some, no idea). Richmond have made the most bids with 10, though most of these came in the earlier years of the current system and not so many in recent years. Sydney are equal 3rd most with the Dogs on 6 bids each. They've just got the reputation because a number of their bids have come earlier than fan phantoms typically have those players, but none have really been anything crazy. The only ones from memory that have come early (in my opinion) were Carlton bidding on Liam Henry, GWS bidding on Sam Darcy, and Essendon bidding on Irving MosquitoDo we have a list of bids each team has made since it became a thing?

Gains the Suns an extra 400-500 points plus more as the late picks more up the order after bids.My steak knives are better than yours type trades?
Yeah most teams seem to be stocking up for next years.Gains the Suns an extra 400-500 points plus more as the late picks more up the order after bids.
