Same rule applies to this thread as other years, keep it on topic about the kids.
Don’t get bogged down on what other teams might do or where they will finish.

Trade speculation belongs here.

That's also where you can discuss your mock drafts or pick trades.

Any McCabe, Dear or Maginness talk belongs here.

Not gonna lie, I would love another Schoenmaker to hear about how he's training the house down every pre-season

Nothing is going to top drafting Mitchell Lewis in the year we traded Jordan Lewis and Sam Mitchell away.

Professionalism has improved out of sight over the past few years. It means players come in ready to play AFL far more than they used to, but with less improvement left in the tank.
Apply that to fonti just picked (fair few like him) I just don’t see any difference in level of improvement, if anything they have far more

Players who have "slid" from the average rankings:

  • Archie Roberts (22)
  • Arie Shoenmaker (32)
  • Zane Zakostelsky (33)
  • George Stevens (34)
  • Jack Delean (38)
Lorenz was well down the guessed order - but tbh, beyond 25 - it's open season really...

Wonder if we pick up one of these boys or a mystery pick!

I'm confused what you're saying here.

I mean draftees are more physically prepared for AFL as the U18 systems get more professional, which means they come out year 1 and complete more pre-season and impact more but they have less improvement in the tank at AFL level. You'd never see a player come in and get 0 disposals for their first 3 games like, say, Kade Simpson.
