Big no Narkle. Has had several seasons to prove himself at Geelong but never got serious about his weight and fitness till he got delisted. I’ll spew up if we pass up on Tucker / Maric / Ziggy for Narkle

After watching the young guns game v Vic Country if we take from their it’s Maric or luke teal. Despite not a need on talent I’d take teal he was impressive and a good kick.

Is his concussion so bad that he needs 3-4 week break. He has some tough decisions to make on his career. Hope club gives him the space to consider his options and he doesn't feel rushed due to MSD.

Also, why are we not interested in Ethan, he was Fothergill-Round-Mitchell medalist last yr but not sure how he is going this yr. Seems to be the right age profile too.

It ranked Connor O'Sullivan top 10 but I can't recall any of the other draft reviews highlighting him. Does anyone out there have any insights on him?

He's a good player. I like what I've seen of him. An athletic 196-198 cm tall defender who is quite agile and doesn’t move like a key defender. He is very versatile (can play key forward and midfield) and looks comfortable with the ball in hand. He played as a tall defender in both AFL Academy vs. AFL Club Reserves matches and did quite well. I think he's good enough to be drafted in the first round, but not as high as the top 10. I think his ceiling is pick 14.

He’s a good player. I’ve said it before AFL recruiters don’t pay a lot of attention to the stat pads. It’s the transferable attributes that more often than not get someone selected. The kid can play don’t worry about that. ESPN has a May ranking as well. A bit of consistency is starting to form across various platforms.

Kicking doesn’t look great.
He loses his footing and does not look as electric as people suggest?
But I have faith in Macca to make the right call !

Most mocks have him at 2 or 3 now. Barring injury, he won't move much from there. Talent wise he's right up there.

Narkle is a pure mid IMO. Never been impressed with his forward work while at Geelong.

He needs a role that keeps him involved all throughout the game as he doesn't have the concentration/discipline.
