If you are already playing reserves/league footy can you not play for the State under 18's team? Can't understand why Chad Reschke who's still only 17 and leading reserves goal kicker in the SANFL isn't in the state under 18's team nor a top 20 draft candidate from SA.

188cm small/medium forward with good footy craft, according to the web.
Not sure who he knocks out of the side tbh.

At least four fresh faces will feature for the Torrens University SA U18 team when it confronts Victoria County in Melbourne on Sunday.
Key forward Tyler Welsh, half-back Louie Montgomery, tall defender Will McCabe and strong-bodied midfielder Tom Wheaton all come into the starting 18 for the clash at Ikon Park from 10.35am SA time.
Welsh and Montgomery are potential father-son selections in the 2024 AFL Draft for the Crows and Power respectively, forcing their way into the line-up as underage players this year.

Looking at Rucks probably best to look at Briggs for GWS as the prototype.
We won't go shopping for a tap ruckman more an oversized mid that gets the ball to ground and protects our smaller mids while they gather it up.
You can be 210cm but you can't be a stringbean with it.

I wonder if miles or Mitch do decide to leave wether the pick for either of them gets us Moir? He has been a bit below expectations this year but has a high ceiling.

The lad my son played with doing a decent job as a bottom age player. Still only 16. Just snagged a goal on half time. SA looking pretty decent.

We land a top 10 pick I think we can land Moir.
He looks like the hip has come good though we might need him to scare a few clubs off with his close family ties.

Gets a tonne of the ball very involved offensively.

Tho I’ve barely watched any football this year but he’s been on the radar of clubs for what seems like forever and seen plenty of him in previous years.

Someone like Macca can probably expand on that more.
