Norwood held on to down South Adelaide in a thriller on Sunday, making for our SANFL U18 match of the round this week.

Trent Tattoli picking up where he left off for Centrals last year. Not tall but does find the ball and worth watching during the year.

Pretty early.
There's a couple of bottom aged 2024 picks that would quite comfortably make the top 10 on this current list ie Josh Smillie and Jagga Smith which is interesting and players such as Tom Beaumont don't have the credits from last year but will feature eventually.

You can't knock Harley Reid but I think others are catching up.

Reid is definitely the real deal. Cant see him dropping from #1. He’s the closest thing to Dusty we’ve seen since Dusty became Dusty

Patton has been very very good for a very long time.

Would hope he has a growth spurt but 192cm isn’t a horrible height for a mobile interceptor like he is.


We really need to add a taller key defender as we already have pasini at 193 and McCallum at 193 tho, but if patton is there at a bargain price , which as a 192cm defender he could easily slip in the draft it’s not a bad idea for us to pick him up.

Can still target a 194+cm key defender with another pick even if late in the draft / rookie.

Not trying to intrude but I am curious what Port fans think Butters is worth these days? Fallen from his initial hype the last couple of years where everyone would have unanimously said 2 firsts. I'd think the Blues would be very interested in a player like him that can play mid/hff with a bit of zip and creativity. Something we desperately lack.

We would want a fair bit for a contracted exciting talent like butters.

The reason he hasn’t had the same hype is he got injured in that bloody richmond game where their players set out to target our young blokes (and succeeded by taking out duursma and butters with horrific injuries from reckless play)

It’s taking him a while to get back to his best, just the same with as duursma.

We don't have a pick in the top 30 or so. Traded out our 2023 1st, 2nd and 3rd picks.
So looking at top end talent is irrelevant.

Need to be looking at who is likely to be around (Collingwood's previous 2nd round) pick, then picks in the 4th round.
