Feels like years since we’ve had a decent draft haul, and the near future doesn’t look any more hopeful at this stage.

Yeah we’re basically all-in on rozee butters taking us to a cup, and we desperately need sinn and Jackson to make it so we have backup mids coming through.

At this stage we might not have any onballers (our f/s are not onballers) coming through until 2025 draft , and those guys don’t reach say, 23 years of age until around 2029 ish , at which point rozee / butters will be what? Around 30.

And that’s if we actually pick onballers and nail those picks.

If it takes us 3 drafts from 2025 to nail some onballers they’re not 23 until after butters and rozee are finished.


Basically hoping we get some guys asking for trades back to Sa before then.

I’m not that familiar with those players but small forward is traditionally a spot players can play early. They’re often not reliant on strength / aerial contests anyway.
