All looks fine but I’m still confused as don’t we still have Francis Evans on our list, a guy who could kick multiple goals as a small forward and then get dropped the week after getting a bag of goals. Along with Fantasia he was unable to get a game in the finals, strange!

Almost reckon drafting a key defender while Hinkley is on the list is a waste of a pick / lost spot.

Too many goals and not enough implied pressure...in fact so slow there's no implied pressure at all.

As has already been said we drafted for needs, a couple of potential small forward prospects who can bring pressure to the contest and an apparently highly skilled outside runner with excellent left foot disposal who played for the Vic under 18's against the Maggies at Mt Barker who I assume must have impressed someone in our recruiting team that day.

There wasn't much point in selecting more project talls to play for the Maggies and have their development stifled because of the imbalance in the bottom half of the list, specifically the lack of crumbing types and outside runners capable of getting the pill when it hits the carpet.

Bad luck for Vigo, but it was always going to be hard for him to get on the main list after the trades for Soldo and Sweet, but he would have to be a chance to be rookied by the club tomorrow night.

Disagree. Burton is not a key defender, niether Bergman (and i dont think he will stay down back anyway). McKenzie is a corpse, Rata has barely been on the park and Aliir is 29. You would wanna be really sure Marshall and Mckenzie are gonna be good to go if there is an injury there. Rookie pick in that place would be good i think.

I'd like us to take Weckert tomorrow in the rookie draft. Don't really have a contested marking type forward other than Lord (Dixon is becoming less reliant now and maybe has 1 year left) so Weckert would be a nice project KF. Not sure if Scully will end up being that type of player

Patton going undrafted is huge. The dude was a star through juniors.

Guess there’s questions over his hurt factor with ball (clean user but people prob question his ability to hurt / create?) and who he is playing on at afl level. Too short for big kfs and prob too slow for smalls.

Boy could he find the pill back there as a junior tho.
