Very confident he will be a midfielder that starts off HB. As I said above, as much a defender as Jordan Dawson was, it was never their long term position. Could play midfield earlier than Dawson did too.

He’s an elite talent that was talked about as a potential pick 3 by North, we have done extremely well to beat out the Eagles.

It looked like it was not unexpected. They were excited but it looked like this trade was already completed. well before the draft. So the Crows probably told Curtain the plan and it worked out that way.
