Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy with this pick. Deep down though I’m hoping he’s more than just a key back

I think I've seen enough drafts now to say it's always better to be cautious. Expect he'll be a key back and be pleasantly surprised if there is a big-bodied midfielder in him.

Another bright side, he does seem to be a rather snug fit with how we played in 2023 if his draftee profile translates to the AFL level. After all, we do play a style that would be very conducive to a KPD who is a strong interceptor and field kick.
