Over on the Port board old Clapped-out Corolla has already done it

Crows draft was fkd because North picked Goad so clearly Edwards is shite, no one know who Ryan is so he’s shite, and Curtin will go home soon so we’re totally fkd

Meanwhile they chose three small forwards which is exactly what they needed and they’ll all succeed and they nailed their draft needs

God they’re pathetic
Can u give me a link to their port board please please

need some fun lol

what is the title

thank you

Curtin primarily a defender, who has ambitions of moving into the midfield. Has the ability to play forward, but I wouldn't list him as one of our KPFs. It will be interesting which group(s) he trains with over the summer.

Burgess, fair enough. He was recruited as a defender, but spent most of 2023 playing as a KPF in the state leagues - and did an excellent job of it by all accounts.

It's still an area of concern. The most glaring deficiency though remains the lack of a developing ruckman.
Curtin has played decent footy as a forward.

There are some names (good ones) not drafted each year. Do you think all of the above will get picked up in the rookie draft?
One of the issues is half the teams in the comp don’t have any spots. 9 teams took 3 or less players at the ND

I doubt all of them do, always a few unlucky ones each year and clubs are using less rookie picks for players new to the AFL. If I had to guess then Sanchez, Visentini, Philactides, De La Rue and Patton are good chances. I personally like the others I mentioned but feel like they had less suitors and those teams aren't flush with rookie spots.

What is it with this board we draft Riley Thilthorpe as essentially a Key Forward according to Hamish and Justin, sure he can pinch hit in ruck but he's a big mobile key forward. Now we draft a lad that has played mostly as a KPD and that's what he classes himself as his best role, can play key forward and midfield as well at his size and we now want to risk him in the ruck? I bloody well hope not.
Thanks, but chill, was only just asking after being away for 10 weeks! I still think it is a legitimate question. If he can have such an impact in the center, but has the height, why could he not be that second pinch hitter in ruck that gives the no 1 ruck the 10-20 minute break they need?

Interesting reading.

North Melbourne offered up two picks in the teens, Essendon was willing to part with its future first-rounder or picks 9 and 31, Hawthorn was willing to trade its future first and West Coast had its coveted 2024 first dangling. But Adelaide's offer of picks 10, 14 and a future second-rounder trumped the lot.

You gotta laugh at the peasants down the road.

Would have only signed him as a FA if they wanted him on the main list, which I doubt anyone does at this stage.
They could have picked him up in the Rookie Draft. But they didn't. I never want to hear those losers whinge about Borlase not getting to them as a F/S, or his pick to us being compromised because of the NGA rules ever again. All 18 clubs have had 2 whole drafts and 2 whole rookie drafts to pick him and no one else did.

Could Port have taken Borlase?

Yeah they had 2 opportunities

They could have signed him to their main list as a delisted free agent or taken him with their first pick in the Rookie Draft (we selected Hamill with our first pick) so he was available to them when they selected Xavier Walsh
