Players will get released for the indigenous side because if they don't, there will be screams of racism even though they are saying no for the same reason they don't support State of Origin. The world team will be full of no names however.

Why not state of origin? Just as many indigenous players would play in that too. Indigenous vs the rest is weird IMO - I guess if the indigenous players are for it then there's no issue, it just feels wrong. I can't imagine they'd do a NFL African American vs the rest or Baseball South American vs the rest without major backlash from the community.
