Squiggle tips Saints at 51% chance -- What's your tip? -- Team line-ups »
Hire Stefanski toolol, love it Saints. AmericanCrow
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports the Saints are expected to hire former Browns DC Joe Woods as their next defensive coordinator.
It's a quick turnaround for Woods, who was dismissed by the Browns after two seasons as their defensive coordinator. Woods replaces co-defensive coordinators Ryan Nielsen and Kris Richard and takes on a Saints defense that ranked ninth in points allowed per game (20.3) and fifth in yards allowed per game. In his last season with the Browns, Woods' defense struggled to stop the run but was stout through the air, allowing less than 200 passing yards per game. Woods' fingerprints are on some of the better defenses we've seen over the last few years, as he served as the defensive backs coach and passing game coordinator for the 49ers in 2019, and was the defensive backs coach for the Broncos when they won the Super Bowl in 2015. For now, it appears Woods has parlayed his firing from the Browns into a better opportunity with the Saints.

What a s**t hire.Cowboys announced Brian Schottenheimer as new offensive coordinator.
Schottenheimer was signed to the team in March 2022 as an offensive consultant, charged with working with the offensive coaching staff in a game-planning role. He now gets the in-house promotion following the departure of Kellen Moore for a franchise that continues to commit to a run-balanced offense. This move should continue that trend after Schottenheimer ran the league's most run-heavy offense during his time in Seattle.
Until he gets sackedMcCarthy is calling the plays anyway so it's pretty irrelevant and was never going to be a sexy hire.
Russ choked hard in the playoffs. Had nothing to do with Schott, he played terrible against GB and the Rams, the Rams have owned him for years now. See how bad he was against them this year for reference.
What a s**t hire.
I remember doing an analysis on his time running the Jets offence. Was terrible then, will be terrible now.
Limitations of the QB - Prescott threw into double/triple coverage more than anyone else in the league.Buthurt Moore fanboi in hysterics. Shame you don't analyse your guy. You'd realise he sucks too.

Spicy. Loose lips Terry
Let's ride! That's incredible haha. Off to a promising start in Denver then...
Why string it out when you only have two candidates to choose from? Just allowing other teams to fill other coaching vacancies in the meantime.
Because they want one of the Eagles/KC coaches .
thats not the most exciting final 2 anyway. i might drag it out too and hope someone better decided they want the job.
Hardly surprising that their list of options is uninspiring, because let’s be honest any one half decent would be shying away from the job because of the Kyler Curse.
Keeping Kliff was a better option than any of the likely candidates that will now be available to be HC.
Meanwhile somewhere many miles away halfway across the world on a sunny, idilic beach in Thailand 🏖Kliff is living the dream in paradise without a worry in the world…..and the Arizona Cardinals are paying for it ….. good jig if you can get it.
There is a reason why some franchises are permanently s**t….. they can move the deck chairs as often as they like however with out changes to the fundamentals and pillars of the organisation, it will amount to naught.
However the annual changes to window dressings will continue…. AND ….once again come up significantly short.
Rinse & Repeat.
