Seems everyone is looking at Stewart, but it looks like he's not gonna drop much. Am I the only one that think Sicily is the better option? Stewart has always had the bigger monster scores (3 scores over 160 last year), but also drops the odd 50 or 60. but Sicily is much more consistent and stable with his scoring usually between 105-140 and also can be more confident you wont need to spend another trade on an injury.
Youre most likely deciding over this seasons R1 and R2 so either is good. Personally I think Stewart is the bigger seagull, and would go him if i had the choice but Sicily may be more durable? Who knows.

I already have Sicily so Stewart is my next DEF target

I'll throw Saad's name in the ring too.
Looks a genuine 110+ chance this season.

I've only got Naicos and Doc (Ridley, Day @ 3 & 4), so all of Saad, Sic, Dawson and Alf look good to me.
Saad and Stewart the most likely to throw in a stinker at some point? You might be right.

(Worpel will become one of them or possibly Josh Kelly this week).

What do we do with Doc?

So tempted to trade him to Sicily or Dawson.
We hold.

Sideways trades are very tempting. However, we have learnt our lessons.

Need to consider that the no trades option this week, with no real urgent rookies needing to be bought in, is actually the best move.

We will be thanking ourselves down the track, trust me.

Phillips?

Haynes or Newman for draft leagues? Newman has burned me before and Haynes has been very consistent so far.

Nick Haynes 400k DEF - 85, 89, 94, 117

Anyone tempted? Averaged 98 in 2020.

Trying to figure out a cheap way to bring off some of these dodgy rookie defenders.

Might think about him as a cheap Docherty replacement
