So only Bonner as PSD pick for for us then.

Dan still has a chance to be picked up then if he goes ok (does not breakdown) in the Pre Season Training.

Well I do not know how much he has changed, but hat profile fits in with our draft flavour this year.

Bonner's original Draft Profile:

Name: Riley Bonner

Position: Utility

DOB: 07/03/1997

Height: 191cm

Weight: 80kg

Draft range: 20-30

Pub summary: Highly skilled utility who does his best work behind the ball setting up play.

Strengths

  • Foot skills
  • Versatility
  • Run and carry
  • Vision
Weaknesses

  • Defending
Overall

Riley Bonner is a talented left footer who has the tools to become a very good AFL player.

Bonner’s strengths are obvious. His foot skills are elite, he runs the ball for his team and often uses his vision to effectively pick out the right option and hit a teammate lace out. His play is eye catching, but there are some weaknesses too that clubs will be considering.

Positionally, Bonner is a defender, however, it is rare to have watched him in a game and come away with an impression that he has defended really well. If Bonner can add a more defensive aspect to his game through intercept marking or general positioning he’ll be a very exciting young player.

Deciding where Bonner will get drafted is a bit of a challenge, those that see him developing into a good sized midfielder have him going as high as pick 15, I think he’ll develop into a taller, more skilled version of a Jason Gram in that he will spend the bulk of his time on the half back line as an offensive weapon. For this reason I see him getting selected more around the pick 20-25 mark in the draft

That draft profile means nothing, he should be judged on how he has been performing over the last few years and that's average at best

Since we weren't offered a pass in the rookie draft i'm guessing then that the list is full.

The AFL banned us from the Rookie Draft because we’re too good at it.

Clearly identified a need for speed and went all in on it. Very happy with the types of players we've ended up with.

Re the rumours - whether or not it is true in this case, that type of bullying does occur very rapidly in society and many people who are victims of it are no longer here because of it. Even if it is just taking the piss out of rumours, people with disabilities shouldn't be used as a joke so you can get a few meaningless likes on the internet.
It does seem funny all these jokes after all the spuds game stuff mental health and all that chat. To haha watch out for our bloke he’ll bully you if you’re not careful.

I think it is more than just a need for speed, I think Lyon and Co want us to gain a competitive advantage by being the quickest, and hardest running (endurance) club in the AFL.

So we may still lack a few stars, and not being early in the draft makes it hard to gain them, but this strategy may make our team more competitive and hopefully more successful.

Schoey not known for his defensive stuff really though is he? Like contest work and 1v1 defensive craft.
Nor is Hastie.
We are a good defensive unit already though, even before these lads.
No his not known for his defensive stuff. But he is a big boy.

Again, Zac Dawson was nearly a triple premiership full back 😂
