I'm really vibing on Edwards and Ari Shoenmaker. AS is Battle size but moves really well for his size. One of the small forwards, Sanchez, Gothard, Collard or Moir would be nice.

He's ideal as the 2nd ruck. Did some ruck work late in the season and has some natural tricks.Yeah I think keeler is more Buddy than paddy Ryder. Could be a very good foil for max king if on. Don’t see him doing much centre bounce woor
The first round will blow out to about 26 odd, and the second might be done by 36 thanks to all the FS, NGA's. The third round will probably be the same or worse. That's why I hope somehow we can get another 20 odd pick for the one the slides through, maybe pick 40 and future 3rd if one slides through maybe
I saw him do some handy things up forward but didn’t get to catch his ruck work. Does he do genuine ruck stuff or is he a second ruck like hayesHe's ideal as the 2nd ruck. Did some ruck work late in the season and has some natural tricks.

Keeler is only 19 and expecting him to be able to fill in as a ruckman would be like a lamb to the slaughter.I saw him do some handy things up forward but didn’t get to catch his ruck work. Does he do genuine ruck stuff or is he a second ruck like hayes
Won't some of those picks get swallowed up by matching bids though? The first round will blow out to about 26 odd, and the second might be done by 36 thanks to all the FS, NGA's. The third round will probably be the same or worse.
I'm not saying it won't happen but I'd very surprised if we're able to make any significant moves prior to our 3rd pick.
Yeah I’d love to see Heath have a go at afl level. Even just pinch hitting in the ruck see what he can do and show him the level he needs to get to. Richmond were rucking Samson ****ing Ryan for gods sakeKeeler is only 19 and expecting him to be able to fill in as a ruckman would be like a lamb to the slaughter.
Let him play a forward role and pinch hit in the ruck when needed.
At 2m tall and capable of taking contested marks the kid could be anything , also being best mates with Nas could well push him to his full potential.
If we are needing a replacement to a injured Marshall , Campbell the guy I suppose and being at 32 he still got life in him yet knowing a lot of the rucks running around are his age or older.
and if anything happens to him Heath surely can have a crack now being 21 and now heavier and is the tallest player on our list.
Had forgotten about the connection think it might have been Greaser Gary Odgers who was coach .
He's got more ruck craft than Hayes but still projected to be a fwd/ruck.I saw him do some handy things up forward but didn’t get to catch his ruck work. Does he do genuine ruck stuff or is he a second ruck like hayes
He kicked a few bags this year too. How many 20 yo's kicked as many goals as him in the VFL this year?Yeah I’d love to see Heath have a go at afl level. Even just pinch hitting in the ruck see what he can do and show him the level he needs to get to. Richmond were rucking Samson ******* Ryan for gods sake

Jesus l had to stop watching. That guy is terrible. Paaaaaasssss!!!!!
Some of the Draft experts (from the Phantom threads) aren’t big in him for lack of ability to defend and even for being a bit of a Savage type kick. Who knows. I wonder if clubs genuinely think he’s as high as BF does.Apparently really bad conditions. He's renowned for long precision kicking. That's all his touches in one match too. Not a curated package like some of the ones out there.
Toce’s a good operator, plus our development is now far superior…just look how our youngsters came on this year!!Windsor is my choice, might make it to us and I’d be happy to move up a few spots to grab him. This kid has some class, real in game speed and some X factor. I’d rather add one genuine potential A grader than two B but if he’s gone there’s still plenty of talent I agree with the posters keen on edwards he looks like a good fit. Wilson in another likely kid and I’m sure there are quite a few more. I’m more relaxed after toce has nailed it two years running I actually have some confidence in our drafting now.
Maybe trade 2 of our future 3rd’s for 1 of Gold Coast’s picks in the 30’sThat's why I hope somehow we can get another 20 odd pick for the one the slides through, maybe pick 40 and future 3rd if one slides through maybe
Highmore a required player now Coffield is gone…DMac will be given every opportunity…a typical Ross Lyon playerAny player off the primary list turns into a draft pick. Though we might also keep a spot for the PSD if there is anyone we fancy.
A rookie into a rookie pick.
With the Irish player our 2 Cat B spots are full. (The AFL Website had an article stating 3 Cat B spots, bit it was wrong).
13 out to 26?, 21 out to 36? Bloody hell. The first round will blow out to about 26 odd, and the second might be done by 36 thanks to all the FS, NGA's. The third round will probably be the same or worse.

Replace Highmore with Van De HouvelHighmore a required player now Coffield is gone…DMac will be given every opportunity…a typical Ross Lyon player
Has powell-pepper vibes and I love it. Very similar to what the pies do with their fwds. Not strictly draft related, but really hoping they try Zac Jones in this role (with occasional 5 minute bursts in the middle as required).
Has the tank to get up and back with the ball. Wont shirk a contest, puts another solid body around King, Caminiti, Pou etc, and means we have someone at Kings feet who tackles to 'hurt.' Too often we are a sitting duck for intercept markers. I want the likes of Ryan, Lever, Stewart looking over their shoulder more often
Kicking is not 100% of course. But IMO our need for a Hamill / SPP style enforcer outweighs that. And hoping this type of role might help his body stay together better. Also frees up Mitch to play more time in the guts
3 players will be picked at the draft then 1 for the pre season supplementary periodAFL website stating we could have 5 to 6 picks in the draft.
How?
We currently have 4, & I suppose the pick 92, will come down below 60?
Highmore & McKenzie, could still be cut? but do they instantly turn into draft picks?
And there is the Rookie draft & PSD.
We have currently cut ties with 7 players
Added 2 plus a Cat B
Do the Maths?
In that scenario, Highmore would still be required..we are light on for tall defenders, unless we convert Caminiti to a defender (which I’m all for)!Replace Highmore with Van De Houvel
I think you'll find they are referring to the total number of picks per round, not the Saints specific picks in each round.13 out to 26?, 21 out to 36? Bloody hell.
Our 1st pick will most likely end up #17.13 out to 26?, 21 out to 36? Bloody hell.
Reading one of the draft gurus answer to what's the knock on him, and I'm paraphrasing here:Apparently really bad conditions. He's renowned for long precision kicking. That's all his touches in one match too. Not a curated package like some of the ones out there.
