Makes sense for Norf if they dont get a trade for Reid done imo. Take Curtain at 2 if West Coast dont want to move, trade 3 coz they are keen on Sanders and can get him at 6. Pick up another pick in the process.

Considering they nailed the early picks this previous year. So you would think they would believe in themselves and get another two guns.

Not a chance West Coast do that deal, think its far more likely we are trying to get to pick 3 and a pick in the 8-10 range

Do you really think were getting back a decent pick if we trade up to 3? We just traded picks 27 and 35 to move up 3 spots from 14 to 11, as you get higher, moving up costs more. So i can pretty much guarantee that if we trade 6 and 11 for 3 we arent getting more than a pick in the 20s or 30s back at best.

We have 4 blokes who we don’t intend on using in 2024 - Brown/Tmac/Melksham and Schache - so already playing 4 players down / redundant on our list.

We then have players who left

Where the hell is our depth going to come from or our next crop

It's disappointing that we're looking to bundle 6,11 and a F1. It's almost like they have no faith that they can pick up good players other than Reid, Duursma and Mckercher.

Preach, here i was looking at the outgoing and thinking we were gonna draft some mids to replace them with and use at least 4 picks on players and apparently despite having vacant list spots and about 1.5 million in cap space, were ummm, well, were gonna do something. Its ok though, Viney, Oliver and Trac will play til they're 35 and will never get any injuries and we don't need any more than 4 mids to rotate through.

But seriously, I'm sure there's some secret plan that will look good at the end, there has to be, no one is that stupid, not even Tim Lamb. We'll do something, we will, I'm not just saying that to stop myself from throwing my mug at the wall, I have umm full confidence in the ahh MFC...Yep full confidence...

i honestly would've preferred to rock up on day 1 of pre-season seeing pick 6, 14, 27, 35, 41 than Duursma/Reid/Mckercher and rookies.

They do realise the tassie team is coming right and we won't ever have a bigger chance to bring in youth?

This year, we had 36 players on our primary list. We'll lose Hibberd, Dunstan, Jordon, Harmes, D Smith and Grundy, taking us down to 30.

McAdam and Fullarton come in, that's 32. Disco and McVee will be upgraded, that's 34. Two draft picks gets us to 36 again. Upgraded rookies get replaced through the rookie draft.

So 2 draft picks would suggest that we're going to package 6+11 for pick 3. And then use pick 41. So 3, 41. seems underwhelming. I'll wait a bit longer.
