Heard on SEN this evening (from a reporter, not a rando caller but didn’t catch who it was) that the talk is we’re trying to get ahead of the Bulldogs’ pick because we rate Nick Watson. No idea if it’s accurate, make of it what you will.

Surely not. If we get up to pick 3, it would be for Duursma.

Norf trumps us. #1 ain't happening unless Norf don't want to overpay. But we'd probably have to get one if Norf's picks at 2 or 3 to be a genuine chance.

Don't really buy the Watson talk. If the whole issue was the Bulldogs taking him, we would've just offered more for the GC pick before they traded it. Had better picks than the Dogs to begin with.

Reckon the way the trade will go is North trade 2 to Eagles and 3 to us for 1, 6 and our F1, Eagles get 11 from us, We get one of North's late first rounders coming back.

Our pick 6 is prime for key backs Curtin/O Sullivan or even a medium forward in Caddy who they both could use. Pick of the bunch.

Our pick 6 holds extra value because of that and wil be a few teams who want it including North and WC.

I think we like Duursma more than Watson, so I don't think we have to worry about it too much, but we're having a legit crack at pick 1. It's a watch this space for mine.

I am starting to enjoy your habit of melting and then working out later what you were melting about
