Nah just can't be stuffed arguing with you anymore. You reckon pettys gone half the year but Adelaide should pay 2 firsts. Then you rate JUH a future superstar but we'd pay about the same.

Still offering up nothing but pot shots and attempts to bait people. Getting embarrassing now. Still waiting for you to put any suggestion on the table other than “do nothing”.

I think Petty is worth 2 because they are offering him $1m a year in 2024 and it makes no sense to trade him for 1 first since that’s what we will get for him as a free agent anyway.

Jackson like compo for JUH is a fair starting point and 6+F1 is different to 10+14 but that might be a struggle for you to see the difference between a pick 6 and pick 14 in a draft that drops off heavily since you consider it the ‘same’.

Cry me a river mate don't be so sensitive. There's a long list of boo hoo TK members there's no more room

Tim Lamb came across as pretty brash and almost rude to Cal Twomey when he was interviewed at the start of trade period. Will be interesting to see his demeanour today.
Didn't hear that, was this during the Oliver saga?

I reckon he's always like that, at least until after trade period. Former cop vibes never really go away.

Can't see it being very interesting. We aren't after any players except McAdam. Are deals out are done and if we still wanna upgrade were hardly gonna come across desperate. Wouldn't be surprised if it's a chat about McAdam and then saying we're almost done

lol you just got royally wrecked and this is your come back? Embarrassing. Anyway back on topic

Wouldn’t mind us taking a look at Ash Johnson if we lose Petty. Struggles to get a run at the Pies and at 193cm would provide us some good aerial capacity.

Royally wrecked? Sure mate move on 😂

Expanding the catalogue of Connor O'Sullivan games. This was from early in the season before he was settled down as a key defender. Here we see him start in the midfield at the first center bounce, but play most of the game as a roaming key forward presenting up to the wings as a marking target. Overall, a good example of his versatility as a talent with size, speed and agility paired with excellent endurance and work rate.

Some seriously bad kicks in there mate. Off the side of the boot and bombs to no one and one on two's. Would suit us perfectly.

He was far more pleasant today - had a few laughs along the way with Ryley Beveridge and Cal Twomey. Was probably just focused last time as it was midday on the first day of the trade period last time.

Didn’t have too much new to say;

  • very happy with picks 6 and 11 but would happily look at any further opportunities on those picks.
  • wouldn’t discuss Clarry other than to say ‘he’s well’
  • Melksham will play for us next year and they reckon he will probably return earlier than most expect after a success surgery
  • Petty is 100% staying

From Lamb's interview:
  • Petty will 100% not be traded
  • Will partner with JVR as our key forwards next year
  • Believes McAdam offer is more than fair and sits with Adelaide
  • Melksham staying, still deciding whether it's rookie list or not
  • JT feels there's a big gap in talent between 11 and 14, hence the trade up. Points don't matter to us, so doesn't matter if it seemed lop-sided
  • Sounds like we'll hold onto both 6 & 11 unless something pops up later on

Also mentioned we've got two future seconds and two future thirds next year that gives us flexibility both this year and next year to trade up.

Just as it had became public so yeh he would have had that to deal with.

It was only a few hours into the trade period starting so I’ll give him a pass as he was probably in business mode.

He wasn’t horrible, just came across like had had better things to do than talk to Cal Twomey.

He improved in that area as the season went on. He's not an elite kick, but when he's not trying for too much it helps him a lot. I also think he benefited from playing as a defender, pinpointing kicks to a more open field instead of biting off tougher kicks into a constricted forward line.
