Some Bulldogs poster in one of the main boards (WC pick 1 board) said someone in the know reckons we are into Oscar Allen.

I call bullshit but wanted to throw out a wild rumour to chill everyone out.

I probably started this when I mentioned to TopKent that I wanted Allen in, and all midfielders out, to be fair.

Would cost us a fortune in draft capital and Jefferson is hopefully only a year or so away.

I like him but not sure its the best use of resources.

So he hasn't "been relegated to the VFL ever since" at all.

Managers will always say stuff like that. Sam Edmund was saying today it's pretty much a formality. Sounds like both parties have worked out a deal they're happy with. Would have to be a Mitch Clark style coup to see him coming to us.

Not mad for him. Just saying id prefer him over Allen given the cost of what wed have to give up for both. Youre probably looking at pick 5 + maybe our own first for Allen, could probably get Barrass for just our own pick. Id rather we used our picks on kids or a mid tbh.

North are going to hoard all the mids again and neglect the rest of there team like they did when they took Phillips over Logan Mac

They seem to think they are getting pick 3 for McKay on top of NGA access to Sanders. Pick 2 for Mckercher.

Norf need help everywhere tbf. Sure mid isn't their most pressing need but id still be taking best player available.

Yeah that's true but Allen is basically a solid a B grade player. I'd be appalled if we gave three firsts for him. If we're throwing that kind of currency around then get Ben King.

TBF their backline would get monstered if you slide two 18 yo KPD in there also.
