AnB looks like the classic player who's done at 28 though. Only thing he has that stands out is work rate and you can't hide him on the field. I like the kid but if he even loses half a step he'll go from best 22 to battler really fast

Exactly my concern, hope Nib is playing great at 30 still however, love that guy and always have.

Great signing. ANB is an unfair whipping boy for reasons I never really understood. he plays tough, runs hard, plays with spirit and hits the scoreboard. He's easily entrenched in the 22 and I don't see that changing for the next 3 years.

He's a good role player and nice to be have a hard worker around for standards etc. Does the pressure work up forward and has improved his skills. In the leadership group so good for culcha.
3 years seems long, but they should still be good years of his career.

ANB re-signed for 3 years? That's a very odd decision IMO. What's the need to lock ANB in until 2026?
Probably got him on a cheap salary locking him in for 3 years.

ANB is a great role player, not the worst signing

Ahh yes, just like we got Gus, Bown and TMac "on the cheap" for giving them more years. The classic Dees fan response. ;)

I believe it’s 100 games. Premiership players automagically become life members
Don't think so. Chris Connolly was inducted in 1991 despite not having played 100 games & I don't think Darren Kowal has been inducted despite playing over a hundred games.

The fact [PLAYERCARD]Cameron Bruce[/PLAYERCARD], [PLAYERCARD]Brad Green[/PLAYERCARD], [PLAYERCARD]Paul Wheatley[/PLAYERCARD], [PLAYERCARD]Matthew Whelan[/PLAYERCARD] were all inducted in 2009 (Their 10th year) makes me think my original thought is correct.

I think DA is right, but also not 100%, Gawn was given life membership after he played 134 games

Seems its 10 years of service to me

I think this is a bit harsh, it's only 3 years I think worse case scenario he'll be depth by the 3rd year but he will still be far more serviceable than mcdonald and Brown.

I dont disagree, just chucking Brown and TMac in there for added emphasis.

Notes taken from someone who went and watched Vic Metro vs Young Guns game on the weekend.

Kynan Brown.
K. Brown is a workhorse. His decision making is really good. I love how he values a HB as much as a kick, there aren’t too many that I can confidently say have this mindset. He spent time in the midfield and across HB, but his mid work was strong with 6 clearances. Brown is definitely one that doesn’t get the plaudits he deserves. Dees recruitment staff would be happy with how Brown is progressing. I see him starting as a nippy back pocket like his dad was, but eventually spending time as one of the Dees mids. It doesn’t matter where his selection comes from, he will definitely land a spot on the Dees list.

Are we putting in any offers to Georgiades at all?

We were heavily in to him pre draft and could be a cheap-ish KPP option to replace the likes of TMac and Schache + we need a new Mitch.

out for 12 months with ACL probably put a dampener on that

Cheers. Didn't see that the ACL had been confirmed. Still wouldn't mind a sniff for a late second rounder

Really?

He's talented no doubt, but he's a little undersized, was out of the team at the time, now done a knee and is out of contract.

Could see him going for a mid-late 2nd. Although I imagine a few clubs will take the punt on him

He's alot better than weid for instance. Had near 50 shots on goal 2 years in a row and is just 21. He's easily a mid to late first rounder.
