Yes could well be. Seems to get big wraps though in various articles.

O’Sullivan probably the safer bet. I’d still be very happy with him.

Just had a look at the highlights then, all the things that concern me on display, very inconsistent hands, lots of double grabs and fumbles in the air and on the ground. No great forward craft. He's very green.

Definitely an option but I’m not overly sold on Caddy. He’s bigger than the other kids without being very tall, but that won’t translate to AFL.

You are such a size queen! He's the same size as Jack Darling and he copped the same criticism in his draft year (as well as being a bit of a loose unit!)

Darling was the clear best KPF available at our pick in the 2010 draft. For some reason, we ended up taking the 196cm Lucas Cook who never played a game.

Darling would have finished up 3rd on our all time goal kicking list.

I don’t know how to feel being called a size queen!.. :)

Not knocking Darling at all - I’m just going on what I see in Caddy and whilst I’m sure he’ll be an AFL player, I also think his strengths won’t be as pronounced at AFL level than they are at junior level.

Interesting piece by Tom Morris on SEN says Dees have an interest in unsigned Bomber Free Agent Darcy Parish.

Ive always thought Parish was more an overrated accumulator. Had a good year a couple of years ago but other than that hes been so Essendon, mid, never lived up to what he was supposed to be imo.

Is he pacy?

Has always looked quick to my eye.
Interestingly statistically he’s had a better season than his AA year in 2021.

I’m big on our 22 getting an injection of pace and class through the middle.

Money’s the issue. Wouldn’t have to give up draft picks for him, which is attractive.

Ive never seen him as someone like that, more a guy with good endurance.

A bit of Macrae about him. Thinking about what I'd be comfortable with money wise, I'd be okay with it if he basically got Grundy's contract but I suspect that's less than what he's getting offered at Essendon.

Id much rather Macrae out of the two honestly.

Don't think either would improve us much. Would probably just get lost in our midfield and not give us anything different.

Yeah don't see what Parish adds to us. Finds lots of the ball but never struck me as an amazingly quick or skilled.

Comfortably takes Hunter’s starting spot on a wing imo. We need quicker ball movement to JVR, Pickett and Co. There’s a reason Pickett in particular has struggled this year. Congestion. Ball too slow getting down there.

I do like Hunter as depth and bench rotation but do see that wing as a weak link in winning a second premiership. Not quick enough.
