Kynan Brown not invited to the draft combine, meaning he's not rated in the top 61 players in the class.

Looks like he'll be a very late/rookie pick

EDIT: not in the 20 players invited to the state combines either, so stock is very low

Plenty of clubs may have not bothered nominating him, knowing that Melb have first crack.

So he might not be rated outside of the first 60 odd picks - could still be considered in the 40ish area.

I am all for taking Watson with the first selection. I will blindly support any recruit that keeps Spargo out of the team.

Toby Greene is 182cm, Watson's a midget compared to him.

The kid would want to be one of the most talented players we've ever seen to take with a top 5 pick at that height.

Dunno about that. Purely as a forward I think Rankine is clearly better.

Clearly is a huge stretch. Not much between them at all, and I like Kozzie's defensive efforts much more than Rankine.

Using this lame ass stats comparison as an argument should be an auto loss.

These very useless stats show Treloar is as good as Petracca

No mention of one playing for a top 4 team and the other for a bottom 4 team, wonder what Kozzy's stats would look like at GC and Rankine's at Melbourne.

No one said Rankine is always gonna be better than Koz but you'd be a nuffy not to see that Rankine is one of the best players in the comp this year while Koz has struggled most of it

Yeah don’t disagree, Rankine took a while but he’s imo the best small in the league now.

Agree with using stars or not but there's very little between Koz and Rankine. Koz is a year younger and is on his way to his third consecutive 40+ goal season, which is elite.

He's the same height as Pickett.

And Jason Taylor has form on punting on the runt of the litter. See Pickett, Bowey, Laurie, Spargo.

Kynan Brown was projected as a late pick. I thought perhaps his champs resided his stocks a little. But doesn’t seem he’s on anyone’s radar early in the draft. We’ll get him cheap.

I like the look of Watson. And I’d be happy if we took him with our first. If we only go in with one top 10 pick I’d be looking at Duursma if McKercher and possibly Sanders is gone.

McKercher is the one. Looks an absolute jet. I very much doubt he makes it to our first pick tho.
