Dogs get a terrible 1 year contract to replace a 2 year one, we get someone who can contribute as a forward ruck at a higher level than useless.

Sorry to quote your post as an example A11dAtP0w3R but this one was just an obvious one to use.

There are so many posts littering this board with these types of little snipes at the moment and it’s ruining the fun for a lot of us.

The immediate aggressive vibe that comes from certain posters towards other comments or opinions is bringing the board down hugely.

We can debate and disagree, no problem - but could we try to bring a bit of humour and camaraderie back around here?

I love coming on and talking footy rubbish/banter with all of you when it’s fun and we can have a laugh.

Not against you Demon 16 but the hilarity of people liking this post who spend their time arguing with others and calling things stupid is not lost on me. Seemingly want a one way barrage of attacks whilst being unable to handle it back.

Brad Scott would genuinely pay any club who brought in Shiel and Stringer, they are emblematic of that club under Dodoro.

Genuinely I need to leave this forum. It has become BigFooty 2009 again, young players are apparently the panacea.

I wouldn't trade Oliver for pick 1 alone, given you'd be hoping to trade a young Petracca in for a peak (and still young) Oliver.

Depends on the picks, but youre probably right, id like a mixture of both thanks.... Roos match on McKay, give us Daniel Curtain and Tarryn Thomas because I said so.

I read this, and this is probably the most absurd trade suggestion I've ever seen made.

You have literally no need for Shiel and Stringer, and Perkins is ok but no world beater, so it's just Reid.

Oliver for Reid is the only part of that trade that would make any sense at all (and Melbourne might still want more) - but Essendon would have to give up 8, Future 1st, Shiel and Perkins to be able to get the collateral to make that move for Pick 1.

So it'd be more like:

Melbourne OUT: Oliver
Melbourne IN: Reid

Essendon IN: (via some nonsense): Oliver
Essendon OUT (via other nonsense): Pick 8, Future 1st, Perkins and Shiel
