it really depends on how highly we rate the player we think we can get at 11 this year which id have no idea of, don't really want another situation like Jefferson where we didnt seem overly excited to pick him.

Do we think Curtin will be there at 6?

Its going to be very hard for me to get excited if one of Reid, McKercher, Curtin or Duursma isn't in a Melbourne jumper come draft night.

WCE need players. Multiple decent picks must be tempting. Especially when Reid is a flight risk. I think they need a guarantee Curtin will be available at their first pick to give up #1. So we'd have to find a way to tempt Norf to trade their comp pick.

Oh we'd definitely still get him. Players don't like going back through the draft which is why teams tend to get these deals done but it's pretty obvious who is being unreasonable here.

Pick 10 for Petty in a straight swap is fair value.

We got May and a player for pick 6 just a few years ago and he is a far superior player.

10+20+player for Petty is Dodoro levels of stupid

He's a tall, mobile 23 year old forward who kicks bags. He's worth way more than pick 10.

If they are offering a mill bucks that’s a fair price. McAdam isn’t worth s**t.

Lever was worth 2 firsts and wasn’t even contracted. They have 10+16 for a 28 year old Bryce Gibbs.

That's the starting point for a negotiations. If WC can throw in a South Australian player, or a later pick to Adelaide, then it might work.

Sadly Adelaide history of losing good players is coming home to roost again, and desperate to land a big fish.

He has been a 2 time AA and the best stopper in the league since joining us.

Can’t see them getting 2 and 3 so 6, 11 and our F1 could well end up being the best offer. Think they’ll be very tempted by that if they know they’ll get Curtain with 6 and then one of the other WA boys who will be there at 11
