100% we’d take McKercher ahead of Curtin, but I don’t think a deal is done unless Norf pull their pants down and offer pick 2 and 3 for 1. In the event of that happening, we’d take McKercher at 2 and suspect we’d ask you guys about swapping 3 and 23 for 6 and 11.

Don’t know if that’s good for your list or not.

I reckon they could make it happen, and on the equalisation of AFL mechanics, WCE are owed something from Norts pot of AFL

You have already stocked away some midfielders from recent drafts, as far as I'm told. as have North... I believe you need structure in young players.? KP stocks. eg Curtain.

We'd be pretty happy with that. All eyes are on Duursma at the club, though I would prefer McKercher.

I'm coming around quickly to James Leake at pick 6.

The more I have watched of him the more I think he's got Nat Fyfe like traits.

His freak ability to not only impact in all 3 lines of the ground in back, forward and mid is quiet rare in junior talent these days.

The more I have watched of him the more I think he's got Nat Fyfe like traits.

His freak ability to not only impact in all 3 lines of the ground in back, forward and mid is quiet rare in junior talent these days.

Yeah if there's one thing you can rely on JT for, it's paying no mind to the general consensus when it comes to draft positions.

I could be convinced by him at 6*, but not if Curtin is still on the board.

Pardon the interruption but was there any substance to the Tom Lynch to Dees chatter? If there was I was very surprised you didn’t trade Petty and 42 to Adelaide for 10 and McAdam. Seemed like they were up for it. Send 10/11 to Richmond for Lynch then take Curtin at 6 and Leake at 10/11? Worst case scenario would have been O’Sullivan and Windsor/Wilson or Leake and Murphy depending on your preference. A Lisfranc is a hugely significant injury and there’s no certainty he’ll be the player he was.

haha, I didnt want to say that but thats exactly what I was thinking, watched all his vids posted by noob the past few days, hes pretty impressive.

Could compare him a bit to Zane Duursma also.
