We must have heaps of SC space?

Heeney
Parker
Mills
Lloyd

Then not much after that?
I suspect we also trade though based on future salary cap space (or lack thereof)

So it's not just Heeney, Mills, Papley etc. But it's also what Gulden, Blakey, Rowbottom, Warner, McCartin, McInerney, potentially McDonald etc. will be worth in the future, even if they're not worth much now.

This board exists in a strange realm where we have both the most amazing list of future stars in the comp, and a list obviously so lacking in big names that Buddy alone being off the list is gonna free up all of this cap space.

Buddy and JPK's money is probably gonna go right into the pockets of those boys when they become stars and we have to start re-signing them. So I'm not at all convinced we have as much salary cap space as many believe.

Gulden, Paps and Warner can all command big bucks now.
Ur right.

Are you guys after Harry Himmelberg ( assuming Buddy, Sam Reid retire). If not, do you think he would like to come to Geelong.

Good assumption about Bud but Sam might have a year or two left in him.
I imagine Harry would be on the consideration list but no idea how high up. Geelong? Who knows?
It would be very interesting to know who Swans are interested in.
You look at the last draft to see we pick or are interested in players who you do not think we are interested in. We disrupted the draft according to others with our picks. Sheldrick was a pick too high for most pundits in the previous draft.
Yet who knows who professionals like our experts like Kinnear and co are interested in. I like the fact we are better and back ourselves in to be better by just doing it better rather than doing what others think we should do.

In regards Sheldrick, I’ve convinced myself that Kinnear listens to me.

Just on Sheldrick.
I am on a rant. Sorry.
Many had Roberts ahead of Sheldrick after the last game.
What they do not take into account is:
Sheldrick was a lock and we have the luxury of seeing Roberts in a full game knowing Mills was injured. Perfect. Give Sheldrick a late run. We are tuned up for round one.
