NMFC: Do you always have to pack us off to WA in Week 1?

AFL: Settle down. You're in Melbourne Week 1.

NMFC: That's great! That inevitable trip to WA at the start of every season ****s us up for weeks. Not to mention it's pretty hard to sell many home game memberships playing interstate. Thanks so much!

AFL: Um.. gotta go

Hold on people with requesting membership codes for this game as according to my calculation, it's already a sell out.

I always request the card as I’m old school.

Assume that delayed me getting the bar code?

Happy to give my barcode up for the game if there’s still any point; which sounds like there isn’t.

Unfortunately due to our past performances over the last few years we are not going to get blockbuster games. We chose to play in Tassie, so it is what it is. If Clarkeson can turn us around and we win more games than lose, then the next fixture might be a bit better for our supporters. Also all the talk of revenge to JHF. Get over it he's gone. He can talk the talk, but can he walk the walk?

I'll get over it when Cam puts ***s pimply sooky head into row ZZ at marvel.

Interesting.

So they sent out one barcode for the entire year, or they sent out on a game by game basis?
I think you’ll find that it’s the same one all year, although it’s possible that they created a special one for the reach around. All those suckers good guy’s that passed on their barcodes could be in for a nasty surprise, no good deed goes unpunished.

Thanks!

To be fair being Perth based these days I don’t see many games in Melbourne live.

I prefer the card as it has my year’s consecutive displayed and I like to pull it out (NTTAWWT) when I’m hammered to start arguments with bandwagon West Australian peasants.

Depending on barcode situation im happy to give it to less fortunate Melb based supporters. Hit me up. Once I figure out how to get them.

I took some photos of the Mount Barker ground for the round 5 match v Brisbane. Happy to answer any questions you might have re the ground or the townView attachment 1575745View attachment 1575746View attachment 1575747View attachment 1575748
Those trees over the far side look like they could make decent vantage points. Would also be a superb way to honour the ghosts of freewheeling football fans past (and the oldies on here who may've engaged in such shenanigans, ofc)
