Feel bad for McStay, always hard when a player misses a whole year like that.
Are they predicting that he will show flashes of brilliance, play one or 2 elite seasons but be absolutely butchered by injuries?its absolutely mental.

Didn't we just get the old Collingwood physioThe medicos at Collingwood should be under fire for McStays injury. His knee was already compromised from the medial he did before the GF.
I thought it was Essendon. Either way, both suck.Didn't we just get the old Collingwood physio
Fitness guy from Essendon, physio from collingwoodI thought it was Essendon. Either way, both suck.
Slobbo, RoCo et al never fail to pump up the dopers. They're members and on the payroll as well.I see the Hun went a double page spread on the Bombers again this morning.
Consecutive days.
It was his other knee , not the same one as he hurt before the GFThe medicos at Collingwood should be under fire for McStays injury. His knee was already compromised from the medial he did before the GF.

Heard Arryn Siposs on the radio this morning - he’s come back as a development coach at the Hawks.
You read my mind, Austinnn. What's that old saying?Fan survey results: Who is the most disliked AFL team and everyone's second favourite side?
After over 60,000 responses to our fan survey, we have an answer!www.sen.com.au
I didn't vote, but I'm honestly surprised Carlton and Essendon are so low, I would have thought they are now less popular than the Pies.
I don't really dislike the Pies now but I'll accept that they were far more abrasive when Eddie and Joffa Corfe were running things, and their history is on the nose.
My top 4 hated teams? Glad you asked. In order:
Dons
Blues
North
Hawks

I'd love to see North fold, even more so since they started getting indefinite charity from the league that was quite happy to let us be s**t for most of our 150 yearsMine are:
Western Bulldogs
Essendon
Carlton
Adelaide
Essendon and Carlton may as well be equals, Western Bulldogs is the only club I want to see fold.

Cites CTE.
Spends majority talking about what the AFL could do better.
Makes single offhand comment about how secondary career was trying not to get punched in the face.
Mayhap not taking up boxing might have helped in the "my head hurt" category? Just a thought.
I don’t think that this new ruling by the Union authorities will lessen concussion risk for any of those players who think with their testicles.Yeah the boxing career definitely wouldn’t have helped. But the recommendations suggest that his AFL career contributed to some degree.
It’s a minefield for sure.
In order to insulate from future litigation clubs must be seen to be implementing best practice, as set down by the AFL and the wider professional sporting industries.
When a recommendation gets made like this what’s the AFL’s ability to reject the findings? What are the clubs?
Are we already running less collision drills? Or does this mean we need to do even less?
Collision sports are changing for sure though. I see Rugby Union has committed to making any tackle above the sternum illegal, where previously it was above the shoulder.
