I get the feeling he will get another year once Seedsman confirms his retirement. He gets a year to show his waresAt least they didn’t sign him on 2 years
If he’s not a semi regular this year would be a waste giving him another year, but you’re right, at least they didn’t give him 2 upfrontI get the feeling he will get another year once Seedsman confirms his retirement. He gets a year to show his wares
But at least it shows there is thinking at West Lakes.

If he’s showing that much we will keep himHoping he at least shows enough to warrant a trade and obtain a draft pick!

Toby Murray looks like a good get to me. Plays Forward and Ruck but I’ll assume he can play back too (at 6cm taller than Nick).Butts Murray Borlase
Don't think Angus Murray is a brother, if he is he's taking a different pathway to Sam and Nick playing his junior footy for the Seymour Lions?Toby Murray looks like a good get to me. Plays Forward and Ruck but I’ll assume he can play back too (at 6cm taller than Nick).
I’m guessing young Angus Murray is a part of the family too. He’s currently doing a preseason tryout with the Murray Bushrangers. Interestingly, this year the Bushies have invited about 100 young players to their tryout/training because of the lack of data/assessment during Covid.
Yeah, Angus has been playing for Seymour U16sDon't think Angus Murray is a brother, if he is he's taking a different pathway to Sam and Nick playing his junior footy for the Seymour Lions?
By mid I assume they mean wing![]()
Hawks young gun Will Day outlines midfield move
The blue-chip youngster looks set for a shift upfield in 2023.www.zerohanger.com
I'd Day transitions well into the midfield, we should really have a crack. My only concern is he's slight frame but image he will fill out in time.

Would we prefer Day or NWM, if we were to chase and land one of them?![]()

Yeah I was very wrong on this one, didn't think the competitive streak was really there in the juniors, but he more than showed enough of that for his position in his first yearTalking about transitioning from junior to AFL, NWM is a another very interesting example. I remember there were a few that didn't think his game would translate well to AFL, however he seems to transitioned exceptionally well.
He looks as fast, skillful and composed as he did as a junior and he seems to have so much time still.
In fairness to the Adelaide recruitment team in this instance I understand he was very high up on their list.
I will say, a few seem to be worried on the Saints boardNWM was a st kilda fan growing up and extremely close to Jase Burgoyne (port).
If he comes home I think he'd be trying to get to Port. Who do not have a first round pick.
Would be stoked to get him! But I think he signs with st kilda.

But it’s all just rumours and whispers until it comes to August
And yeah, Port surely wouldn’t have the draft capital to get him
Yeah I keep forgetting Georgiades is OOC this year
