If we make the finals this year - add Redman - then absolutely we would be silly not to get him in.

You throw Dusty even a Dusty at 50% into our forward line and he will be invaluable.

Edit - did you see him against Geelong 3 weeks ago? He didn't look cooked.

For me, Pedlar is already doing way too much of what you would be bringing Dusty in to do (including the bum's on seats bit). And he's a cheap 21 year old, vs an expensive 32-33 year old next year.

In fact looking at their 2023 stats is quite interesting. Dusty has the raw possession numbers this season which is to be expected. However Pedlars forward impact seems to be more substantial YTD. 5 multiple goal games vs 3, more goal assists, more total goals, more tackles, more score involvements / disposal.

I think almost certain dud is fair.

Which is why not taking a pick in the MSD is not that important - especially if you are outside the top 3-4
