Mod notice after Mr Bob did a lot of annoying work in moving days of posts out of here. As we are heading into offseason, this thread is for 2023 list management only. Getting upset on previous trades can be taken to the vent thread. Lets keep this thread on track in the part of the year it's actually relevant

Problem is knobel may walk to another club if he is any good

Thing is I think we should always have four rucks on the list unless one of Darcy or Jackson leaves.

You need ready-to-go back up but those guys leave pretty quick if they are any good at AFL level. So you need the next bloke developing as well.

I'd be comfortable with three rucks if our best 22 had one of them.

Also I think Reidy has a bit of development left in him.

Fremantle have s**t picks this season after losing all those players last year.

Not that bad and considering Jackson is performing. Pick 21 is slider territory.

Any other year and 19 wins ends up pick 7-10, not 4th so Melbourne have won the Lotto twice.

We’re much more likely to get a player that plays 100+ games than one that plays less than 10.

Ballantyne, Michael Johnson, Sandilands, Walters, Lachie Neale, Luke Ryan, Sean Darcy all past 20, either late picks, rookies, PSD

Problem is, this year pick 21 will be more like pick 26 after 5x academy and FS picks, so we’ve drifted from Fyfe, Mundy, MJ territory into NOD, Motlop territory, don’t get me wrong, would love a Collard type at 26 but chances definitely diminish.
