Mod notice after Mr Bob did a lot of annoying work in moving days of posts out of here. As we are heading into offseason, this thread is for 2023 list management only. Getting upset on previous trades can be taken to the vent thread. Lets keep this thread on track in the part of the year it's actually relevant

No way it was backloaded, at least not through the middle years when we fell off the cliff and gutted the list. We had to pay someone.

Band 3 compensation for Hamling would be pick #25.

I would prefer to keep Joel but should we lose him it will significantly open doors for us in regards to trading up and Hugh looked really good on the weekend - I would hope their output projection curves meet at some point in 2025 if not 2024.

#21 and #25 combined is about +20% on points for pick #10. Should GC get hold of the Dog's pick #10 and #17 I think we would be right in the window to take #10 off their hands.

If we can get a pick in the early 20s again for Henry we could go to the draft (assuming we don't trade the picks with GC at the start of the draft, which I prefer) with #10, #20, #40

You're both right depending on the source you use. Neither the club nor any media outlet have announced that Reidy has re-signed to my knowledge. However, footywire.com, which is often right about these things (and if anything sometimes takes time to update), has Reidy as having re-signed to 2024 (Fremantle Dockers AFL Player Contracts).

There is some crazy shit happening with KPDs this year. Essendon and North have nothing. Is it crazy to believe they’d offer Hamling 500k for 3 years to get him to move? Aren’t paying anyone else

Wow, if they are offering him enough to get us some good compo, I'd be rolling the dice on injuries or Davies / Tabs / Treacy covering. No point extending him more than 1 year with our list unless they want an option to make Cox a forward again.

I was all in on getting pick #2 for Weller as soon as I heard him say GC had guaranteed him they'd get it done on the radio, that's one that springs to mind.

I wanted a huge price for Brad Hill even though we got him for pick #23 - I don't think that ended up quite as high as I wanted. Same with Cerra, or Lobb - but all three were more than the general vibe of value repeated on bigfooty.

Lachie Neale was on value. I didn't want Hogan. Jackson was too damn high but I wanted him.
