Coulthard was pretty exciting in his first game in the VFL. He's bloody fast and has good skills and vision. Sold some candy on the run and kicked a nice goal from 40.

Reckon he'll debut this year, possibly in the next few weeks if he keeps it up.

Played very well and was totally spent at the end. Also got a clearance and some tackles. Hulking lad who will benefit from a strong off season. Mad wce did not put NicNat on the LTI.

Harry Arnold our other MSD pick up was also impressive.

Hunter had 4 goals 1 behind for the Bombers' VFL side in the loss to Carlton. Should have had another shot but gave it to a team mate in only a fractionally better position (who missed). Very pleased with how he moved and presented on a hard day where our midfield was generally beaten.

With our strike rate, kid should overtake weideman fairly quickly

You seriously have a gun with him, hope you develop him well.
He rarely misses his set shots great action good kick.
Wonderful hands its his greatest strength and I love coming of a ACL still jumps at the footy like he does
Needs a strong AFL preseason to get fitter and he will improve greatly

Id play him in two weeks against freo
1-weideman has been poor
2- give the kid a cameo at Optus just in case this is his only chance.

Liked him last two weeks in our vfl. Bit of a path to go, but looks worthwhile giving him another year at least

Will absolutely get another year.

Buller and Maric absolutely taking advantage of the lack of spots available to play in their positions.

Expectation early shouldn’t be big as the step up from where they have come from in a short space of time has been huge.

Great for Narkle as well. A good complement to a side that is doing well, but made the most of his chance last night.

Yeah that’s what the clubs said they wanted it for. Good to see it used in this way.

Hardie did okay in the VFL. Had 21 touches total but about 18 of them were before half-time.

Seems to have run out of gas and been moved to the forward line in the second half...but if he can just keep building his endurance he's got a solid chance of debuting.

Coulthard had a good game on the weekend. 14, 2 goals and passed one or two off. Reckon we will see him in the seniors at some stage this year.
