I think they're conflating a rookie deal vs rookie year. I could see Harrison getting $5m+ in NIL which would be a huge offering, which would equate to an average year on a rookie contract, but not $25m for one year at college.

Did sound extreme. & why bother with the NFL after that, go off playing golf for the rest of his life...

Depends on if you are talking cash flow (where the $25m number comes from) or what it would say his cap hit is in the first year on Spotrac (which would probably be something like $5-6m)

Given that a top 3 pick’s contract is basically entirely guaranteed, he’d actually the the vast majority of the contracts value in cash in his first year

Jfc. The QB is terrible but that’s negligent play calling. 2 yards in 2 plays for a new set of downs, and you don’t need much for FG range. It goes into OT and you’d expect Pittsburgh to be favourites.

It’ll be basically a bye for whoever gets the Steelers in the playoffs if they make it. They’re terrible.
